Technology Toolbox

Technology Toolbox is a series of profession development offerings for teachers and administrators looking to improve their use of technology or to learn about new trends in K-12 education. The sessions are offered at 2:30pm and 4:00pm over the videoconferencing systems. Teachers can participate in these sessions from their school buildings or district. The sessions are free to NORT2H member school districts.

Jazz Workshop

Jazzing up your curriculum with Videoconferencing

Join leaders in K-12 videoconferencing to learn structures and templates for student projects and collaborations. This class is team taught with VC colleagues in Michigan, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas, and Wales, UK. Guest speakers each day will share additional engaging uses of videoconferencing. Team up with other teachers to create a VC project for next year. Along the way, learn about and use other collaborative technologies such as blogs, wikis, Flickr, Google Docs, Skype, and Twitter.

Dates- July 26th - July 30th 2010

FREE to attend, 2 hours of Graduate Credit can be purchased upon the completion of the workshop through Ashland University
